Morning Session 8.40am (doors open at 8:30) to 12.00pm 
Afternoon Session 1:00pm to 3.20pm

From 8:20 we have a 'wake up, shake up' programme on the playground to enable the pupils (and parents) to have an active, fun start to their day. 

The register is taken at 8.40am. However, the children are encouraged to arrive at school from 8.20am for Wake Up, Shake Up and then and go straight into the classroom where learning starts at 8:30. The children come into school via two main doors, in EYFS and KS1, through the door to the KS1 corridor and in KS2, through the door into the Y3/4 corridor at the top of the steps in the playground. 

Unless your child is attending an after school club they will leave via their classroom’s outside door at 3.20pm. Children in Reception and KS1 will not be allowed to leave until we have seen the adult who is collecting them - if this is not a parent, you will need to notify the school office.  Children in KS2 can be given permission to leave on their own at the end of the day.  A form is sent to parents to give this permission each year - please contact the school office for more information.

Children in every class will have a morning break for fifteen minutes and an optional afternoon break for ten minutes, in addition to their thirty-minute lunch play.  During their play times, they have access to a wide range of activities including organised sports, art and free play.  We believe that it is important for the children to be able to 'play hard' to make sure that they can work hard when they are in class.

Throughout the school year, the children have a range of enrichment experiences to support their wider development and specialist teaching opportunities such as sports coaching and music.

School is open for all pupils for a total of 33 hours 20 minutes a week (34 hours 10 minutes for those arriving when the doors open at 8:30).  

The week is extended for those accessing the wrap around care provision up to a total of 52.5 hours each week.
