Mrs Jennifer Thornton - Headteacher

Mrs Thornton has been Headteacher at Fernhurst Primary School since September 2020.  During that time, the school has implemented a bespoke curriculum which has driven the results forward, an extensive enrichments programme has been launched so that learning comes to life and the school grounds and building have been developed to enable play and learning times to be even more purposeful. 

Miss Sarah Allen - DSL and Pupil Premium Leader

Miss Allen joined Fernhurst in September 2021.  She has successfully enhanced provision for those children who do not have the same financial privilege as others and as a result, attendance and results are improving for these children. 

Ms Nikki Ludlam - Senior Leader for Inclusion, SENDCo and Designated Teacher for looked after children

Ms Ludlam joined the team in September 2022 from a background of SEND advisory team work within West Sussex.
